Ayurveda

Agadathantra  is the branch of Ayurveda that is similar to the toxicology of modern medicine.

Ayurveda  is considered to be a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) in the western world, where several of its methods, such as the use of herbs, massage and yoga are applied on their own as a form of CAM Treatment.

Dravyagunavijnanam  deals with the raw drugs that are identification, time of collection, properties and their indications to the diseases.

Kaumarabhrithya [Pediatrics]  is a branch of Ayurveda which deals with prenatal, postnatal baby care.

Kriyasarira  deals with an ayurvedic view of human physiology.

Manasikaroga  deals with psychiatry.

Panchakarma  is the words for the five different procedures used in Ayurveda which are believed to purify the body.

Prasoothithanthra and Sthreeroga  is one of the most important branches that deal with gynecology and obstetrics sections.

Rachanasarira  deals with an ayurvedic view of human anatomy.

Rasasastra and Bhaishajyakalpana  deals with the collection,preparation and preservation of medicines that is a modern pharmacology.

Salakyathanthra  deals with the etiology, diagnosis, prognosis, prevention and treatment of diseases that are located above the neck region such as the head, ear, nose, eye and throat.

Shalyatantra  is a significant branch of Ayurveda, dealing with surgery.

Sidhantha and Samhitha  includes basics of Ayurveda. All acharyas were started with the samhithas with a sutrasthana. Actually it is an entry to sastra. It deals not only a health science a life itself.

Swasthavritha  deals with prevention of diseases by daily regiments and yoga therapy.

Dentist

Dentistry  is the branch of medicine that is involved in the evaluation, diagnosis, prevention, and surgical or non-surgical treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the oral cavity, maxillofacial area and the adjacent and associated structures and their impact on the human body.

Endodontics  deals with the tooth pulp and the tissues surrounding the root of a tooth.

Oral and maxillo facial surgery  is surgery to correct a wide spectrum of diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region.

Oral medicine  is the dental specialty placed at the interface between medicine and dentistry.

Orthodontics  is the specialty of dentistry which is concerned with the study and treatment of malocclusions [facial abnormalities], which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both.

Pedodontics  is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence.

Periodontics  is the specialty of dentistry which studies periodontium. Periodontium which means tissues investing and supporting the teeth.

Prosthodontics  is the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes.

Cardiology  is the branch of medicine which deals with the treatment of heart diseases.

Cardiothoracic Surgery  is the field of medicine involved in surgical treatment of diseases affecting organs inside the thorax [the chest]. Generally treatment of conditions of the heart [heart disease] and lungs [lung disease].

Dermatology  is the branch of medicine dealing with the skin and its diseases, a unique specialty with both medical and surgical aspects.

Endocrinology  is a branch of Medicine that deals with the endocrine glands, actions of hormones and their metabolic consequences.

Family Medicine and Stress Management  Family medicine (FM) is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care to people of all ages. . It is a form of primary care that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family across all ages, sexes, diseases, and parts of the body. Stress management is the amelioration of stress and especially chronic stress often for the purpose of improving everyday functioning. Stress produces numerous symptoms which vary according to persons, situations, and severity. These can include physical health decline as well as depression.

Forensic Medicine  the science that deals with the application of medical knowledge to legal questions.

Gastroenterology  is the branch of medicine whereby the digestive system and its disorders are studied.

General medicine or Internal medicine  is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. [Diagnosis and treatment [nonsurgical] of diseases of the internal organs...]

General surgery  despite its name, is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal organs.

Neurology  is a medical specialty dealing with disorders of the nervous system.

Neurosurgery  is the Surgical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system.

Nuclear medicine  is a branch or specialty of medicine and medical imaging that uses radioactive isotopes (radio nuclides) and relies on the process of radioactive decay in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Obstetrics and Gynecology  are the two surgical specialties dealing with the female reproductive organs, and as such are often combined to form a single medical specialty.

Orthopedics  is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system.

Pathology  is the study and diagnosis of disease. The related scientific study of disease processes is called "general pathology." Medical pathology is divided into two main branches, anatomical pathology and clinical pathology. Medical pathologists work through examination of organs, tissues, bodily fluids, and whole bodies (autopsies).

Pharmacology  is the study of drug action.[1] More specifically, it is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that affect normal or abnormal biochemical function.

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation  is a branch of medicine which aims to enhance and restore functional ability and quality of life to those with physical impairments or disabilities.

Psychiatry  is the medical specialty devoted to the study and treatment of mental disorders which include various affective, behavioral, cognitive and perceptual disorders.

Radiology  is the branch or specialty of medicine that utilizes imaging technologies like x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to diagnose and treat disease.

Rheumatology  is a sub-specialty in internal medicine and pediatrics, devoted to the diagnosis and therapy of rheumatic diseases.

Sexology  is the scientific study of sexual interests, behavior, and function.
